Who Is Amar Adatia ?

At the mere age of six, Amar’s mother knew that her son was destined for the dramatic arts. His ability to over dramatise and convince at such an early age was a sure sign of his career path.

At age 14 and being of Indian origin, his parents were extremely excited when he was given the opportunity to star in

the huge Bollywood blockbuster, ‘Kabhie Khushi, Kabhie Gham,’ alongside some of India’s biggest stars.

Whilst continuing work as an actor, Amar decided that his true passion was to create his own opportunities and began work on his

first feature film, ‘Four Hours’ in which he starred and produced. This film was acquired by a distributor at the Cannes Film Festival and sold worldwide.

Fast forward to 2017 and Amar is now in the process of having released in nationwide cinemas, ‘Gangsters Gamblers Geezers,’ his own feature film in which he has acted, directed and written.

In addition, he is in the post-production stages of his first television series, ‘Derranged’ which is due to be aired in the coming year.

Not only that but he has two feature films he had produced and starred in called Dangerous Game which he has co-produced with Calum best and Requiem both out in summer 2017.

The sky’s the limit for this determined young man and 2017 is set to be an exciting year!
