The Richard Attenborough Scholarship supports the next generation of screen craft professionals by providing financial support towards tuition fees at the National Film and Television School!
Richard Attenborough was one of the most successful actors and directors in the history of British and international film.
From his extraordinary performances in Brighton Rock and 10 Rillington Place, to his epic, award-winning Ghandi and the intimate and powerful drama Shadowlands, Lord Attenborough was a giant of the moving image and one of most respected and admired members of the Film industry.
He was acutely aware of the problems that many in our industry face, at any stage of their career. He served as a patron of both The CTBF (now The Film & Television Charity) and the National Film and Television School, which helps develop emerging talent.
